Baby feeding log
Add each bottle or breastfeed, diaper change and sleep as it happens and see the totals for every day. Entries stay in this browser, so there is nothing to sign up for. The log records what you enter and gives no advice.
Runs in your browser: nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
How to use it
- Choose Feed, Diaper or Sleep, then its type.
- Check the time, add the amount (bottle volume, or minutes for breastfeeds and sleep) and press Add entry.
- Read the daily totals above the list. Use × to delete a wrong entry.
- Export CSV saves the whole log.
What is totalled
- Feeds: the number of feeds of any kind, including solids.
- Bottle: total volume, in ml or fluid ounces as you choose. Entries are stored in millilitres; 1 US fl oz = 29.5735 ml.
- Breast: total minutes.
- Wet / Dirty: diaper counts.
- Sleep: total time slept, as hours:minutes.
Worked example
A day with 120 ml and 90 ml bottles, a 15-minute breastfeed, one wet and one wet-and-dirty diaper and a 90-minute sleep shows 3 feeds, 210 ml, 15 min, 2 wet, 1 dirty and 1:30 of sleep.
Notes
The list shows your 20 latest entries and keeps up to 5,000. Nothing here is medical advice.
Frequently asked questions
Where is my baby's data stored?
Only in your browser's local storage on this device. It is never uploaded, so another browser or device starts a new log. Export CSV to keep a copy or share it with your health visitor or doctor.
How are daily totals counted?
Each entry counts on the day it started. A diaper marked Wet and dirty adds one to both columns, and a sleep that begins at 22:00 counts entirely on that day, even if it ends the next morning.
Can I log the time after the event?
Yes. The date and time default to now, but you can change them to when the feed, change or sleep started.
How much should my baby eat or sleep?
This log does not give targets, since they vary with age and the individual baby. Talk to your health visitor, midwife or paediatrician about yours.
How do I log a breastfeed on both sides?
Enter the total minutes as one entry, or add one entry per side. The daily total adds the minutes either way.
