Blood pressure log
Enter each reading with its date and time and see a chart, your averages for the last 7 days and overall, and a table you can export to take to an appointment. The log only records numbers; it does not tell you whether they are good.
Runs in your browser: nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
How to use it
- Check the date and time (they default to now).
- Type the systolic and diastolic numbers, and the pulse if you have it.
- Press Add reading. The chart, averages and table update.
- Export CSV saves the whole log for a spreadsheet or your doctor.
What you see
- The chart shows up to your latest 60 readings in order, systolic as a solid line and diastolic as a dashed one.
- Last 7 days and All readings show the count, average systolic, diastolic and pulse, and the lowest and highest values.
- The table lists your 30 most recent readings.
Worked example
Readings of 120/80, 130/85 and 140/90 give an average systolic of (120 + 130 + 140) ÷ 3 = 130 and diastolic of (80 + 85 + 90) ÷ 3 = 85.
Notes
Readings vary through the day, so a single number says little. Ask your doctor or nurse how and when to measure, and take their advice over anything shown here. The log keeps up to 3,650 readings.
Frequently asked questions
Where is my blood pressure data stored?
Only in your browser's local storage on this device. It is never sent to a server, so clearing site data or using another browser or device starts a new, empty log. Use Export CSV to keep a copy.
What do the two numbers mean?
Systolic is the pressure when the heart beats and diastolic is the pressure between beats, both in millimetres of mercury (mmHg). Readings are written as systolic/diastolic, for example 120/80.
Is my reading high or low?
This log does not judge readings. Targets depend on the person and the guideline used, so talk to a doctor about yours.
How is the average calculated?
It is the plain mean of all readings in the period, including several on the same day, rounded to a whole number. The 7-day average covers today and the six days before.
Can I enter two readings at the same time?
A reading is identified by its date and minute, so a second one at the same minute replaces the first. Change the time by a minute to keep both.
