How to use it
- Type a name and a budget and press Add person.
- As you buy gifts, change the Spent amount in that person’s row.
- Watch Left for each person and the total at the bottom.
How it works
Left = budget − spent. The bottom row sums the budget and spent columns, and the left is their difference. A negative number is shown in red with the word over.
Worked example
Mum 50 with 42.50 spent leaves 7.50. Sam 30 with 35 spent is 5.00 over. Together 80 budgeted and 77.50 spent leaves 2.50.
Good to know
Add a small row for wrapping, cards or postage if those costs matter to you. Amounts are plain numbers in whatever currency you use.
