Bucket list maker
Write down what you want to do, pick a category and add it to the list. Tick items off when you have done them and watch the progress count. Filter by category, print the list, or copy it as plain text. It stays on this device.
Runs in your browser: nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
How to use it
- Type something you want to do, choose a category and press Add to list.
- Tap the box beside an item when you have done it.
- Use Show to look at one category, or copy the text export to share the list.
How it works
Items are stored in your browser. The export groups them in a fixed order of categories and marks each with [x] or [ ].
Worked example
Three items, one ticked: the progress shows 1 of 3 done (33%). The export starts with the category name, then a line such as [x] See the northern lights.
Good to know
Small, specific goals are easier to finish than vague ones. A habit tracker is better for things you repeat, and a to-do list for chores.
Frequently asked questions
Where is my list stored?
In your browser's local storage on this device. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed. Clearing site data, private mode or switching device starts a new list, so copy the text export if you want a backup.
How does the export work?
The text box lists your items grouped by category, one per line, with [x] for done and [ ] for not done. Press Copy and paste it into a note, message or document. The export always contains the whole list, whatever the filter shows.
How is progress counted?
Done items divided by all items, rounded to a whole percent. It counts the whole list, not just the category filter.
How many items can I add?
Up to 200, each up to 100 characters. Removing an item deletes it for good.
