How to use it
- Type a task, pick a priority and press Add task (or Enter).
- Tick the box in front of a task to mark it done. Tick it again to bring it back.
- Use the filters All, Active and Done to change what you see, and Sort by priority to bring high-priority tasks to the top.
- Clear done deletes all finished tasks at once.
How it works
Each task has a text, a done flag and a priority: high (red mark), normal (blue) or low (grey). The whole list is saved to your browser’s local storage under the key tools.todo after every change. Filtering and sorting only change what is displayed, not the stored order.
Example
Add “Pay rent” as High, “Water plants” as Low and “Call mum” as Normal. With Sort by priority on, the order is Pay rent, Call mum, Water plants. Tick Pay rent and the counter reads 2 left of 3.
Tips
- Keep high priority for a few tasks; if everything is high, nothing is.
- For recurring things, the habit tracker fits better than a list.
- To plan by day, use the weekly planner.
