How to use it
- Type one task per line, for example
Design, 2026-03-09, 10d, Plan. - Use
afteras the start to begin the day after the predecessor finishes. - Add a title and download the chart.
How it works
The chart spans from the earliest start to the day after the latest end. Each bar is placed in proportion to its dates, and the date labels on top use a step of 1, 2, 7, 14, 30 days or longer so there are at most about twelve of them.
Worked example
With the default data, Plan runs 2 March for 5 days, so it ends on 6 March. Design starts after it, on 7 March, and lasts 10 days, to 16 March.
Tips
- List predecessors above the tasks that depend on them.
- Keep names short; the first 22 characters are shown.
