Class timetable maker
Choose how many days and lessons you need, the time the first lesson starts, and how long lessons and breaks last. The times are filled in for you. Type a subject in each box and print the timetable on one page.
Runs in your browser: nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
How to use it
- Choose the days, the number of lessons per day and the time of the first lesson.
- Set the lesson length and the break between lessons.
- Click each box and type the subject, class or room.
- Press Print.
How it works
Lesson i (counting from 0) starts at the start time plus i × (lesson length + break length) and ends one lesson length later. Times are shown on a 24-hour clock, and the rows run in order from top to bottom.
Worked example
Start 08:30, 6 lessons of 45 minutes with 10-minute breaks: the first lesson is 08:30–09:15, the second 09:25–10:10, the third 10:20–11:05, the fourth 11:15–12:00, the fifth 12:10–12:55 and the sixth 13:05–13:50.
Tips
- Put the same subject in the same slot on different days if your school repeats them.
- Short subject names fit the boxes better; add the room number after a slash.
Frequently asked questions
How are the lesson times worked out?
The first lesson starts at the time you give and lasts the lesson length. Every next lesson starts after the break following the previous one. With a start of 08:30, 45-minute lessons and 10-minute breaks you get 08:30–09:15, 09:25–10:10, 10:20–11:05 and so on.
Can I have a longer lunch break?
The break length is the same between all lessons. For a long lunch, leave one lesson row empty or type “Lunch” in it for every day.
Are the subjects kept if I change the number of days?
Yes. What you typed stays in its box while you change days or lessons, so you can go back without losing it. Subjects are not saved after you close or reload the page.
What are the limits?
Up to 7 days, 10 lessons a day, lessons from 15 to 120 minutes and breaks from 0 to 60 minutes. Times past midnight wrap around to the next morning.
How do I print it?
Press Print. Only the timetable is printed, not the settings. Use landscape paper if you chose six or seven days.
