Bingo card generator

Pick American 75-ball cards (B-I-N-G-O with a free space) or British 90-ball tickets, choose how many cards you need and print them. The built-in caller draws numbers without repeats so you can run the whole game from one page.

How to use it

  1. Choose 75-ball (US) or 90-ball (UK).
  2. Set how many cards you need. They are generated as soon as you change a setting; press New cards for a fresh set.
  3. Press Print cards, or copy the page to your own document.
  4. To call the game, press Call next number repeatedly. Called numbers appear in order on the board below, and New game reshuffles the balls.

How it works

For 75-ball cards, five different numbers are picked at random from each column’s range of 15. For 90-ball tickets, the tool first decides how many numbers each column holds (at least one, at most three, 15 in total), then chooses which rows get them so every row has exactly five, and finally sorts each column’s numbers from top to bottom.

Example

A 75-ball card might have 7, 14, 3, 11 and 9 in the B column, with the centre square marked FREE.

Tips

  • The caller never repeats a number, so a full game of 75 calls ends with every number called once.
  • On 75-ball cards the caller announces the letter too, for example “B7”, as in the traditional game.

Frequently asked questions

How is a 75-ball card laid out?

It is a 5 by 5 grid headed B, I, N, G, O. The B column holds numbers from 1 to 15, I from 16 to 30, N from 31 to 45, G from 46 to 60 and O from 61 to 75. The centre of the N column is a free space.

What are the rules for a 90-ball ticket?

Each ticket has 3 rows and 9 columns with 15 numbers: 5 in every row, and 1 to 3 in every column. Column one uses 1 to 9, the next columns use 10 to 19, 20 to 29 and so on, and the last uses 80 to 90. Numbers in a column rise from top to bottom.

Are the cards all different?

Each card is drawn independently, so two cards can in principle match, but with these layouts that is extremely unlikely. Cards are not arranged in the full 6-ticket strips that bingo halls sell, where every number from 1 to 90 appears exactly once.

How do I print only the cards?

Press Print cards. The print layout hides the rest of the page and shows only the cards. In the print dialog, choose to print backgrounds if you want the shaded header row and blank squares.
