How to use it

- Keep Ignore repeated lines on if each person should count once, or switch it off to give more chances to people who appear several times.
- Press Draw winners and use Copy proof to save the seed and the numbered list.
How the draw works
Blank lines are dropped and spaces are tidied. The entries get numbers 1, 2, 3 in the order shown. A seeded shuffle then picks distinct entries, so nobody wins twice in one draw. The seed is created with the browser’s cryptographic random source.
Running a fair giveaway
Close entries before drawing, publish the rules and the list, and keep the proof. If a winner cannot be reached, draw again with a new seed and say so openly. Check the rules of the platform and the law where you live, because contests are regulated in many places.
Frequently asked questions
How is the winner chosen?
When you press Draw, the browser creates a random 128-bit seed from its cryptographic random generator. The seed drives a shuffle in which every entry has the same chance, and the first entries of the shuffle win. Numbers are drawn without modulo bias.
How can someone check the draw?
Copy the proof (seed and numbered entry list) and share it. Anyone who pastes the same entries, in the same order, with the same unique setting and winner count, and types the seed into the seed box, gets the same winners. Changing even one entry or its position changes the result.
Is it really random if the seed is replayable?
The seed is random when you draw, so nobody can know it in advance. Replaying with a typed seed is a re-check of a draw already made, not a way to get a new result. For a public giveaway, publish the entry list before the draw or show the draw live.
Do my entries leave my device?
No. The list is processed in your browser and is not uploaded.
