Duplicate PDF Pages

Type the pages to repeat and how many extra copies you want. Good for forms that need several copies, cover sheets and templates. The file stays in your browser.

Everything happens in your browser. Your files are never uploaded.

Runs in your browser: nothing you enter is sent anywhere.

How to use it

  1. Choose or drop a PDF.
  2. Type the pages to repeat, for example 2 or 1-3,7.
  3. Set the extra copies and where to put them, then press Duplicate and download.

How it works

The tool builds a page order list and copies those pages into a new document with pdf-lib. With copies placed after the originals, each chosen page is repeated in its place. At the end, the chosen pages in ascending order repeat once per copy after the last page.

Example

A 4-page file with page 2 chosen and 2 extra copies placed right after the original gives 6 pages: 1, 2, 2, 2, 3, 4.

Tips

  • To copy a block of pages several times in sequence, run the tool once per round with the end option.
  • Use the reverse or organize tools afterwards to reorder.

Frequently asked questions

What does Extra copies mean?

The number of copies added to the original. With 2 extra copies a page appears 3 times in all.

What is the difference between the two places?

After each original puts the copies next to their page: for pages 1 to 4 with page 2 copied twice you get 1, 2, 2, 2, 3, 4. At the end appends them after the last page: 1, 2, 3, 4, 2, 2.

Does it make the file much bigger?

Not by much. Copies refer to the same page content where the PDF library allows it, but sizes can still grow with each copy.

Is there a limit?

The result may have up to 5000 pages. Up to 99 extra copies can be set.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Everything is done in your browser.
